Preliminaries

ISNP International School for Neuropelveology GmbH (Commercial Register No. CHE-114.839.995, hereinafter “ISNP” or the “company”) acknowledges the importance of privacy to its users and customers. To that end, ISNP adopts the following policy with regard to the collection, use, and dissemination of personal information, including “personally identifiable information” (PII), transferred from visitors to its websites and users of its online services.
PII, as used in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.
In the following, ISNP gives account of how it collects, uses, protects or otherwise handles the visitor’s personal data in accordance with the company’s website and online services.
This policy has been developed with the recognition that internet technologies continue to develop and evolve rapidly, and that such changes may require ISNP to alter its privacy policy. Any such alterations will not affect ISNP’s general commitment to the protection of ISNP’s website visitor’s and customer’s privacy. ISNP will post any changes to its privacy policy on this page.
The continued use of ISNP’s website and services by the visitor or customer constitutes acceptance of such terms and policies.

Privacy statement

Generally, ISNP will only process personal data including PII, (hereinafter referred to as “personal data”), as described in this privacy policy.
However, ISNP reserves the right to conduct additional processing to the extent permitted or required by law, or in support of any legal or criminal investigation. Furthermore, ISNP reserves the right to disclose personal data under special circumstances, including disclosures required by law, court order or circumstances under which disclosure, in the sole discretion of ISNP, is necessary to protect the legal rights, including the intellectual property rights, of ISNP.

If the use (browsing) of ISNP’s website does not require any form of registration, ISNP may collect anonymous usage statistics to help and improve the visitor’s browsing experience.
Some services offered by ISNP require the visitor/customer to provide ISNP with personal data. In these situations, if the visitor chooses to withhold any personal data requested by ISNP, it may not be possible for the visitor/customer to gain access to certain parts of the site and for ISNP to deliver its services.

ISNP collects information that the customer provides by filling in forms on the website, by contacting ISNP or by use of ISNP’s services. This includes the following data:

  • information provided at the time of registering to use the website or service, posting material or requesting further service;
  • records of any correspondence from the customer;
  • details of transactions the visitor carries out through ISNP’s website and of the fulfilment of the customer’s orders;
  • details of the customers visit to the website and services of ISNP, including but not limited to traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, to the extent that the collection of such data is required for ISNP’s billing purposes or delivery of services and the resources that the customer accesses.

Security and confidentiality

In order to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data that ISNP collects online, ISNP uses networks protected, inter alia, by industry standard firewall and password protection. In the course of handling personal data, ISNP takes reasonable measures designed to protect such information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. In addition, all sensitive/credit information supplied by the customer is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Non-disclosure of personal data | data transfers abroad

ISNP will not sell, share, or otherwise distribute the customer’s personal data to third parties except as provided in this privacy policy.

In order to provide its online services, ISNP may disclose the customer’s personal data to third parties who act for or on ISNP’s behalf, for further processing in accordance with the purpose(s) for which the data were originally collected or may otherwise be lawfully processed, such as provision of online services, evaluating the usefulness of ISNP’s website, products and services, data management or technical support. These third parties contract with ISNP to only use personal data for the agreed upon purpose, and agree to treat such data it in accordance with this privacy policy.

Personal data collected by ISNP may also be transferred to a third party in the event that the services of this website or a part of it and customer data connected with it is sold, assigned or transferred, in which case ISNP would require the buyer, assignee or transferee to treat personal data in accordance with this privacy policy.

ISNP provides its online services by means of servers and databases located in Switzerland and Germany, some of which are operated by third parties on behalf of ISNP. ISNP or its affiliates may transfer the customer’s personal data outside the customer’s country of domicile, potentially including countries which may not require an adequate level of protection for the customer’s personal data compared with that provided in the customer’s country.
However, ISNP and its affiliates shall reasonably undertake to adopt a system of principles, rules and tools, provided by European law, in order to ensure effective levels of data protection, in particular relating to transfers of personal information outside the EEA and Switzerland.

Right of access, correction and objection

Whenever ISNP processes personal data, ISNP takes reasonable steps to ensure that the customer’s personal data is kept accurate and up-to date for the purposes for which it was collected. ISNP will provide the customer with the ability to object to the processing of his personal data, if such processing is not reasonably required for delivering ISNP’s services or ISNP’s compliance with law. In order to access personal data or to object to the processing of personal data, the customer may contact ISNP per e-mail at datenschutz@isnp-gmbh.com.
Requests to delete personal data will be subject to any applicable legal and ethical reporting or document filing or retention obligations imposed on ISNP.

“Cookies” | Google Analytics

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to the visitor’s computer’s hard drive through the Web browser (if the user allows) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize the visitor’s browser and capture and remember certain information.

ISNP uses cookies so as to provide its online services, for instance order to remember and process items in the customer’s shopping cart, or in order to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction, which is necessary for ISNP to maintain high quality site experience and online services.

The company’s website (www.isnp-gmbh.com), ISNP and its affiliates may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”).

Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will first truncate your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states that are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and Internet usage to the website operator. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. ISNP may provide links to other websites and aims to ensure that such websites are of the highest standard. However, ISNP cannot guarantee the privacy standards of third party websites or be responsible for the contents of sites other than this one, and this privacy policy is not intended to be applicable to any linked, third party resource or website.
